SPECIAL EVENT: 1st Annual Doggy Talent Show

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Does your dog have a special talent? Perform a unique trick? Or have some other ability that should be showcased?
If yes, then join us for our 1st Annual Doggy Talent Show taking place on Sunday, December 12th from 4:00-6:00pm at the Mall at Fox Run. We are seeking dogs and their owners who would like to show off a special trick or talent for our judges and audience to determine who will take home 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize in this year’s talent show. In addition to shiny trophies, the winners will also receive cash and other prizes.
- 1st Place winner – $150
- 2nd Place winner – $75
- 3rd Place winner – $50
We love our certified, professional dog trainers, but we are sorry, this competition is for non-professional dog owners only. If you are certified, but do not offer dog training as a professional service, you are eligible to participate. We encourage participants to work with our dog training partners prior to the competition for ideas and tips if needed.
Upon registering, you will be emailed an entry form to complete as well as additional details about your appearance in the 1st Annual Doggy Talent Show.
We encourage dog lovers, who are not interested in participating in the talent show, to come watch, support their favorite dog(s), and vote. You can also visit with pet vendors and partners who will have tables set up in the Mall. Santa will also be visiting at the Mall. Your dog can visit and get its picture taken. Lots of photo package options are also available from digital downloads and traditional photos to snow globes and stuffed reindeer.
RULES & REGULATIONS:
- Check in at our table at the Mall at Fox Run starting at 3:30pm to receive your number.
- Talent Show begins at 4:00pm.
- Dogs and their humans will be given no more than 3 minutes each to showcase their talent to our judges and the audience. Going over the time limit will disqualify you. If you have equipment to set up for your act, you will have the additional time and help needed from our team.
- Talent showcase is restricted to an area roughly 10ft x 20ft in size.
- Judges will announce their 3 choices following the completion of the last act.
- Each team chosen by our judges will then be given 3 additional minutes to showcase their talent.
- Audience members will vote via a polling app to decide 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
- Trophies, cash and other prizes will then be awarded to the winners.
The Doggy Talent Show is open to dogs only. We love our feline and other furry friends but this would not be a good environment for them. Certified professional dog trainers are not eligible to participate. If you are certified, but do not offer dog training as a profession, you are eligible. Contestants who desire to participate in the Contest with their dogs will be required to complete an entry form. Forms will be emailed to each contestant upon registering below.
Completion of the entry form is required. All eligible contestants who register for the Contest will be considered during the preliminary round of judging. Bisson Barcelona, LLC will prohibit you from participation in the contest, if at their sole discretion, you show a disregard for, or attempt to circumvent these Official contest rules or act: (a) in a manner that affects the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest in any way; (b) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other Participant or the Sponsor; or (c) in any other disruptive manner.
The participating dog(s) must be owned by the contestant; and the contestant and participating dog(s) must be present at the contest stage at 4:00pm. Contestants will line up in numerical order and be ready to showcase their talent when called. Contestants must be at least 13 years of age. Parents/legal guardians of minors will be required to sign a parental permission form.
Teams of no more than 2 dogs and 1 human will be judged on a number of criteria, including:
- uniqueness of trick
- dog/human bond
- level of difficulty
- overall star quality

- Members – $30/dog or dog team entry (use talent show coupon code found in the Welcome section of this website)
- Non-members – $40/dog or dog team entry
- Please no children under the age of 13
Only 15 tickets are available for this event. We highly recommend only 1 dog/person for maximum happiness. However, if your dogs are both part of the act then no more than 2 dogs/person please.
Full refunds issued if cancellation received 1 week prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after.
