2022 Charitable Partner Finalists

The five finalists for the 2022 Charitable Partner Program were recently chosen by a committee at the NH Dog Walking Club.  The committee which consisted of the owner, safety manager, and lead event guide, reviewed nine applications submitted in the month of November from NH-based pet nonprofits.

Applications were scored based on three criteria:

  1. Mission;
  2. Plans for growing/starting their charity; and
  3. Plans for the marketing support and funds raised.

Annually, the NH Dog Walking Club along with its partners and members, support local charities by offering marketing and public relations support as well as help with fundraising for their cause.

Past participants of the Charitable Partner Program, include ElderPet, Mary’s Dogs, Live & Let Live Farm, and Hero Pups. Since the program launched in 2019, the NH Dog Walking Club has helped raise over $15,000 for charitable partners, which includes collaborations with Sit.Stay.Smile Pet Photography for the Dover Dog Howloween annual celebration and local businesses.

The finalists for the 2022 Charitable Partner Program include: ElderPet, Pope Memorial Humane Society – Cocheco Valley, Humane Society for Greater Nashua, Peace and Paws, and Mary’s Dogs.

Applications for the five finalists are shared with official club members who vote from December 1-15. The organization with the most votes will be named the 2022 Charitable Partner. In the event of a tie, a 24-hour voting session will take place for members to choose one winner.
